5 CHERRY ON TOP DATES

Based on the personal experience of this blogger (might also work for educational purposes).
🍒 ON TOP 1:
Imagine a red car. Imagine summer in the city - August, to be exact. Imagine a Sunday morning (let's say 1 pm. That counts as a Sunday morning).
Now make that red car an oldtimer. And a convertible. And a surprise.
He picks you up, wearing a white tank top, tanned skin, gorgeous smile. You drive around the city and end up kissing on his rooftop with champagne, good music and - how could it be otherwise - a sunset.
I cannot put it any other way: surprising a girl like this on a first date deserves the top spot.
Oh, did I mention he ghosted me in the end?
🍒 ON TOP 2:
From summer in Europe to summer in Bali.
It starts as a double date - Billards, motorcycles, you get the full passenger princess treatment. A little dancing, a little flirting here and there and in the end it's just the two of you on a motorcycle, a beach and rain and sparkles. You let the rain fall and finally get your The Notebook moment.
I think this is the most romantic thing I have experienced yet.
I couldn't really talk to him though. How come so many European guys in their 20s still don't speak English?
🍒 ON TOP 3:
Oof, hard one.. I do think it's the one in the desert where we drove out in a Jeep and had a picnic in the dunes. Or maybe it's the one just walking around Dubai Old Town, driking karak, eating street food for five dollars. I can't really explain why this stuck with me. There's something special about experiencing someone's home base and letting them guide you to the best food spots.
Especially when you don't want to be seen together. Super fun. And no, there were no other people involved. A project maybe.
🍒 ON TOP 4:
Ohhh my god you know this one's coming: PARIS. How can a date in Paris only be fourth place, you ask? Haha. Stay with me.
Montmartre, beautiful scenery, Sacré-Cœur. For anyone who hasn’t been yet - this is your sign. GO! He's waiting for you to show you around and give you a tour of his neighborhood. There's this one café where you can have wine and cheese while sitting right on top of the city. That's how it feels like. The food was so shitty, to be fair, BUT the vibes. The vibes! He ends up taking polaroids of you, because of course he's an artist.
It was also the time you unknowingly went out with a guy who's five years younger than you, what really showed when he first kissed you.
You will never see him again. At least he paid for the Uber.
🍒 ON TOP 5:
The underrated first date. The one that hits you like a truck in the face because it's so effortless, so dreamy, so... well, so simply ticking all your boxes. Again, we find ourselves in Paris (it has to be like this, you guys). He wears slouchy jeans, a crossbody bag and a cap. There might have been a handwritten letter involved. Yes, I know about lovebombing, and I'm not ashamed to admit I loved it. Sue me!
Laughing and talking in the Jardin du Luxembourg, flirting and intense eye contact in a French café right before dinner, and dancing in the streets after dinner. Yes, that happened. You promise each other not to take it too far.
Let's remember the words of the wise Samantha Jones: Honey, if he seems too good to be true, he probably is. You leave with a headache and a dysregulated nervous system.
Damn love this little lore. Dating in your 20s is sometimes wonderful, and sometimes the source of the best lore and group chat texts
Obozavam!!
